After the dreams had stopped, Spennig chose to move out of the Temple's rooms, and into one of her own out a bit farther into Darnassus. She had been living there for the months following the dreams, but was still struggling to sleep.
Fingering the scale, Spennig lay and once again wondering why the dreams had stopped so suddenly a few months back, with the horrific one about her mysterious warrior battling a group of warlocks. She went very still at the sound of stealthy movement by the door, lying as if asleep on her bed, wondering who would enter her room this late.

S - The Love of a Healer - 7She thought of the druid Merrick, who she was oddly tied to by the bronze dragonscale they had in common. His appearance in her room had been the trigger to send her out into the world, though an earlier encounter had made her restless as well. She had worked for a century as a healer in training, striving to learn all she could about healing and saving lives. She was determined never to lose others she cared about like she had her parents. After meeting Zik, the wounded demon hunter, she had determined to learn more about the world outside the Temple. S - The Love of a Healer - 6She had healed many without thinking about what the flow of wounded must mean outside the walls of the temple, until she had met one whose presence set off Tyrande. She had been surprised by Tyrande's dislike, and animosity, given the woman's normally calm demeanor. While tending the man, she had been bothered even more by the insistence on his being restrained, both because it made it more difficult to check wounds, and also because it did not seem right to restrain him. It was when they spoke briefly and he had mentioned names with the sense that everyone should know them, and she had felt foolish asking about it, that she determined that sS - The Love of a Healer - 6
